Dr. Potter Orthodontics is excited to announce a Fullerton & Yorba Linda Orthodontist reopening. As always, our patients’ dental health is our utmost concern. 

Dental practices across California are reopening this week to more patients for the first time since Governor Newsom’s March 19 stay-at-home order. We care about each patient and will continue to follow state guidelines to ensure your safety as well as ours.

All along, Dr. Potter Orthodontics has been here for emergency care to help our patients with concerns. Now, we are beginning to enter a new phase of accepting more patients. As we do, we will prioritize urgent matters and begin to reschedule previously postponed appointments for essential preventive care.

Reopening While Keeping You Safe

The California Department of Public Health has issued guidelines as dentists across the state begin slowly reopening. We will be observing these guidelines as we adhere to state safety steps.

Our office has always been immaculate, and now it will be even cleaner, as we carefully disinfect and take additional precautions. Please help us by observing the new rules and steps as you arrive for your appointment. 

We’ll be informing each patient about the new protocols before you arrive. Importantly, these are easy enough to do and necessary as we resume operations.

 

New Steps for Safety

For example, dentists now required to screen patients for COVID-19 symptoms. Thus, we may be carefully checking your temperature, asking you to wash your hands, and asking you to wear a mask or additional protective wear.

Also, we will be limiting how many patients enter the building or the waiting area. Therefore, you may be asked to wait in your car to receive a call or text signaling your room is ready.

To comply and to keep you safe, we’ll be wearing additional personal protective equipment (PPE) and providing the same for our patients to wear.
